Sunnydale White Suffolk stud was founded in 1996, with the purchase of 9 ewes and 1 ram from Detpa Grove. Since then we have continued to buy some of the best genetics available in rams and ewes from Detpa Grove and Anden studs which have excellent Growth Rates and good confirmation supporting the breed’s qualities.
Sunnydale has continued to introduce high ranking genetics into the stud with the purchase in 2016 of two leading sires from the Anden stud (170250 & 17090) we again added 3 Anden Rams in 2017 with high PWWT and strong bone structures which we believe will complement the existing flock by adding more bone and type back into the stud.

As part of Crown Lager’s reinvigoration, which was launched in 2013, Carlton and United Breweries has undertaken a commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients available for brewing each year. For nearly 30 years we’ve been providing barley to Carlton and United Breweries. In highlighting its partnership with Australian hop and barley growers, a series of TV commercials and marketing material was created which feature our farm.
